Weekend 06/16/02: Camping, part one

Char and I invited Nick (who lives farther away than at first appears) to go camping.

out of focus, on 10x zoom... I wonder why it's out of focus, though. hm

It should be well noted that soon after the above photo was taken, we saw a snake. It was only about a meter long, with black and light yellow stripes running along (not across) its body. I was going to take a look at it and take a photo. Suddenly, the whole thing poofed up around its circumference and lashed at us. It was only a little warning, but we decided to play along and run away screaming like little girls. A good time was had by all, perhaps even the snake, who got a good ego boost.

We went to a water park the next day (thus the bathing suit). After that, I drove home and got very very tired. I napped at a gas station featuring a huge elephant. Hurray for auto-timer!

I recently took a trip to LA to talk to some guys in the movie biz. They helped me sort of figure out the best way to go about getting into the business and such. Anyway it was a good excuse to take some photos.
