May 18, 2002: Olbrich Gardens, Graduation Day |
My family came to madison for my graduation. This makes me happy |
This is actual after my graduation, and before Char's. UW is a big school, so they split it up.

May 11, 2002: Blue Mounds, Wisconsin |
So I dragged Char to Blue Mounds, Wisconsin, where I had done location-scouting
for a feature I interned on last summer. The great thing about state parks like Blue Mounds is that no one seems to go to them. You have the whole place to yourself. You can walk around unbothered for hours and enjoy the sound
of the frogs chirping. It reminded me that I should use boodler more often. (note I am currently incapable of forming a complete, coherent sentence. Good night) |
I have a weakness for flowers in shallow depth-of-field
|
pretty rocks!
|
I was trying to capture how green the forest floor was, but also the cool shadows the trees made. I think I should have stopped down a little more for that to come out properly.
|
I took this on maximum zoom (10x) and a 1/1000 shutter. The bird flew away before I could take a closer shot.
|
say no MORE! btw my brother's utilities don't allow for vertical thumbnails. this should be fixed at some point.

It will rain tomorrow. Why the hell couldn't the weather be this nice for the day I actually have to shoot? |
