Suspend to Disk with Nvidia Graphics Card

For a long time, laptops with Nvidia graphics chips running the official nvidia drivers have been unable to use the suspend-to-disk features of linux. No longer!

Answer: new drivers! yay! The latest drivers from nvidia have “initial” support for suspend to disk. This means it works, mostly.

If you experience crashes trying to resume, try adding

Option “NvAgp” “0”

to the Device section of your XF86Config file. Hopefully they will address this in the future.
