Amazon wishlist. Many items on the list I'm not actually dying to get. The priorities reflect my preferences pretty well.

I wouldn't mind copies of those Transmetropolitan comic books (I mean, graphic novels) that Owen has.

I do like good food-related things. But my kitchen is small, I don't have a whole lot of time to cook, and it'd probably be better if I didn't have to lug around a lot of esoteric kitchen equipment as I move around over the next few years. But I'm sure there is plenty of room for creativity given those constraints. Something one-shot that I could do at home like the cassoulet kit from last year would be great. (Although, in retrospect, perhaps it would be better if the gift did not involve more than a pound of gizzards.)

Actually, like Mom, I wouldn't mind a laser pointer either. Green ones are pretty cool ...
