Part I: LA
Departure: Friday July 29th.
Mode: JetBlue Flight 489. Depart Boston, MA (BOS) at 4:35 pm and arrive in Long Beach, CA (LGB) at 7:55 pm. Reservation at JetBlue.com.
Destination: L.A.
Car reservation: Reservation at Vacationwired.com with "Joe" @ 1-866-GO-WIRED. Mid-size Chevy Malibu. Char has a Hertz coupon for either $10 off or a free upgrade.
Lodging: Buky 224 s orange drive(pronounced like the badger) Bed and breakfast.
Activities: Meet up w/Merry, Disneyland, Museum of Jurassic Technology map, etc.
Char's Birthday Dinner at a nice restaurant (check out OpenTable.com for reservations.) She likes The Spanish Kitchen -- Map -- reservations made for Saturday, July 30, 2005 at 8:45 PM
LA County Museum of Art, King Tut Exhibit ($25) Map
Part II: Escape from LA
Departure: August 2nd.
Mode: Rental Car.
Activities: t.b.d., stops at various parks and roadside attractions, and enjoying the scenery. Possibly Hearst Castle.Map
Part III: San Francisco
Destination: San Francisco.
Lodging: Laura has generously offered to host us.
No public transportation nearby, it seems.
Recommendation (from Duckie): don't be proud, do the obvious things: going to Golden Gate Park (including the teahouse), walking around the Presidio and across the Golden Gate Bridge (and back!), riding a cable car, climbing the tower on Telegraph Hill, visiting the Museum of Modern Art map, driving up to Muir Woods...

We got a Go-Pass so we will probably hit as many of those things as possible.
wine country:
Departure: Saturday August 6th.
Mode: JetBlue Flight 476. Depart Oakland, CA (OAK) at 10:35 pm and arrive in Boston, MA (BOS) at 7:10 am (next day). Reservation at JetBlue.com.

- Printed out flight, car and hotel info.
- Owen needs to bring Merry and Laura's phone #'s
- Cell phone chargers and other electronics chargers.
